It depends on what you mean by "fall". Some would argue it's already falling while others would say "someday" and still others take the "never" stance.

I do think that if we do fall, it'll be at our own undoing and not someone else's. Even as "civilized" as we are there's still too much racial / political / religious separatism here.

Too much infighting and greed will be our own downfall.
