as with all open source projs, the UI (user interface) for GIMP is abysmal...
i'm looking for image progs to do stuff for the web.
I hear that adobe generally embed copyright info (it inserts it's license number) into the finished file.
I feel that it generally isn't good to use a non-legitimate editor to do stuff for the web, where it can be audited really easily.
for sure, i know microsoft office files contain the license info within their files. so better to be safe than sorry.
so might hv to go with Photoshop Elements. abt $80 on amazon.
