I primarily use uttorrent because of the small foot print. Works great for creating seeds as well for uploading torrents.

I use BitComet, its easy to work with, and dont take up so much RAM.

Used Azureus before, but that program "eats" all my RAM

i "was" using bitcomet on my old computer
but then when i got my new one the bitcomet download speed was going really slow, so i downloaded bitlord since every torrent site advertised it
so im using bitlord for now and its running really well

Default Ive tried them all

Some have more option the others but generally they do the same things. utorrent is pop with most serious downloaders and seeds.

I make sure that none of my torrents have spy ware or viruses. Its ashame that some other publishers feel the need to infect their torrents..... Allthough some people sould learn to walk before they run.

I have just changed from BitLord to uTorrent, the main reason being the ability to encrypt torrent data. When using BitLord I would be lucky to reach a 100kB/s d/l rate on a well seeded torrent, the average would be 30-40kB/s. Since changing to uTorrent with encryption enabled I have been hitting d/l speeds of 400kB/s+ with averages of 175-225kB/s.

Encryption stops the ISP's from limiting the torrent communication speeds as the data is encrypted and their filters do not notice this as torrent data.

Also I like the ability to be able to schedule limited u/l and d/l periods during the daytime when my network is used more heavily, but then automatically open up the limits during the night time..
