Anti-virus: ESET (NOD32)
Firewall + Anti-Spyware: Agnitum (Outpost Firewall Pro)

Those two are really great and runs really smoothly. NOD32 only uses 25MiB of your RAM, even when it scans and such, because it's well coded.

If you need help deciding what AV you what to use, see this site and then look at the reports: http://www.av-comparatives.org/ .

@Skull and Bones; Maybe you should add some more;
avast!

Post Symantec Corp Edition + Wingate.

Hello team,

That's a great post for those who need some guidance about what Antivirus and Firewall to use.

Personally, i've been using Symantec Corporate Edition ver 10.1 (ver 10.2 is for Vista) for the last 5 years and been much happy with it. For the firewall, i would recommend wingate....though a little bit technical, but at the end, you can sleep tight with your PC running 24/24 and 7/7.

For Adwares & spywares, spybot search and destroy is UNCOMPARABLE. The best up to now.....Bitdefender might be ok, but it takes a lot of CPU processes.

All the best for your next choice.
