i belive so
as i stated in an earlier post, when i used bitdefender, all it did was tell me there were viruses, everytime i tried to disinfect or delete, it would say object could not be deleted then continue with the scan, it pissed me off, kaspersky, pretty much always works

Me I use microsft defender to fight the spyware and I use AVG anti virus for the viruses. I used to use nortons too, till I found AVG Free. I just wonder how long AVG is going to stay free till they too switch over to a paid version.

AVG (switched from McAfee)

No firewall. Why use it? It only interferes with downloads.

Good AV and antispyware do the job ( Search&Destroy, Ewido Antispyware, Spyware Doctor and AdAware is my combo).

Default using firewalls

Nope. Firewalls are either useless (like windows firewall) or severely limit your connectivity. And connections is all that's important for P2P. So why drive with handbrakes on?
