Default Vista Home Premium 64 bit

Does any one know of any anti virus software other than Norton that works on this O/S.

Cool Vista Home Premium 64 bit

I have tried most antivirus software at one time or another. The best one is NOD32 by ESET! They have a 64 bit version that is Windows Vista certified I think.
It gets the highest industry ratings and will not slow down your PC.

I buy my 2 year update subscription for about $20 per year. A bargain!

Try it out.

I use Nod32 again.. its much better then all that Symantec shite.. they lost it with Peter Norton.. it hasn't been any good since Norton antivirus 2002.

Same goes for Norton utilities.. once a must set of utils, now a worthless set of things u find in windows or don't need anyway..

One thing with Nod32.. make sure it scans ur disk on a regular interval.. i never seen it do that out of itself after install..

In the option update, there is a setup.. where u can make a schedule for that.

Kaspersky is one of the best, you could try NOD32 or Black Ice

Blackice is a bad firewall.. it does defend against attacks from outside, but not from within.. u can use Kerio personal firewall for that, best feature, if u don't wasn't to use the extra features, its free.. but don't think its bad.. its damn good actually.. best i seen so far.. Kaspersky i tried.. but i cant make head nor tale of it.., i heard it was reasonable good, but i couldn't say for sure.

I never even heard of Blackice antivirus.. they haven't updated the firewall in like 3 years.. are sure they are still live there ?..
