Default How to create a Torrent using BitComet

Here is a quick guide on creating a torrent using BitComet, it is important to put your file that you wish to make a torrent of plus the torrent itself in the same folder, I just use the "Download" folder within BitComet to put all torrents & files.

1. Open BitComet where you will get this Screen:

2. Select "Create Torrent"

3. Now be careful here, if you are creating a torrent with more than one file, select "Multi-File", if just a single one selct "Single File":

4. I have used the "Multi-File" Option for this guide, now you need to select the file that you want to create a torrent for, for this guide I am going to use "Finding Nemo" as an example:

5. Now you see this screen, enter the tracker details and press "ok":

6. Now the torrent will generate, this should take a few seconds, you should see the green bar increasing at the bottom and eventually the new torrent that you have created should appear:

7. Now you need to start seding the torrent, it should automatically create itself in the seed column, then right click over the new torrent and select "start":

8. Hopefully an orange arrow should be pointing upwards on the torrent that you have created, this is now seeding (once you have upped the torrent on a torrent site):

Hope this helps & Good Luck
