That helps M$, and keeps me well provided on everything needed... like food.. So they always supply me with a copy on CD/DVD.. Maybe thats in error, i don't know.. but i am not complaining..

Smile Yes I Do

I download illegally. I am a criminal.

DVDs: The majority of the DVDs I upload are DVDs that I own. Others I ones I borrow from friends/family. Others are the ones I download online.
Music: I buy cds that I know I like 5 or more of the songs on it. I upload music from them. But I do download a LOT of music illegally. Normally because I only like 1 or 2 of the songs on a cd and don't want to pay $20 for 2 songs.

My beliefs as far as sharing DVDs or Music goes... well I believe if I buy a DVD and I want to share it with a friend - I would let them make a copy of it. The same for music. I don't remember there being this big of an issue of copyright infringement when the mediums where VCR tapes or cassettes. Those were copied and shared and not much fuss was ever raised - well, what's the difference now? Other than you have a bigger community from which to share and recieve.

Programs: I would say that I legally own maybe 25% of the programs on my computer. I would also say I only actually use about 50% of the programs on my computer - the other 50% are just setups/installers/etc.

Games: Yeap, still a criminal. I can say however that the only games on my computer are pretty much just pc games from BigFish/Reflexive/etc. Any game requiring a disk (with the exception of "The Game of Life", I bought.

So yeap, I'm a criminal. I find stuff illegally and then I share it with others. Send me to jail, I'm sure I'm much worse than that serial killer from down the street.

Bad Angi!

I take what is offered to me. If it hursts the companies so bad then maybe the MD/Chairman shouldn't be getting a 30 per cent raise with bonuses every year, while the workers get .5 per cent below inflation. God bless this Earth and all the stupid sheep in it. What a tangled web we weave....

... and "big government should not stand between a man and his money"
i mean, "what's good for business is good for the country"
our children still take that lie like communion,
the same old line the Confederacy used on the Union

conjugate liberty into libertarian
and medicated associated with deregulation privitization
we won't even know we're slaves on a corporate plantation

somebody say hallelujah,
somebody say damnation,
cause the profit system follows the path of least resistance
and the path of least resistance is what makes the river crooked
makes it serpentine
capitalism is the devil's wet dream

What can I say, I agree. My views on economics are often not agreed with. Unfortunately, the words are not my own. They are part of a song. I recommend listening to the whole thing.

I agree. But Trying to come up with a workable way of change the way our system works on a national or international scale is something that God would struggle with.

Smile That's a possibility

It's not something that will be figured out in our lifetimes. Not unless something radical happens. But a good place to start would be seriously examining which occupations have the most worth. The bubble-gum singer or the 8th grade math teacher....
