I'm with Dude and stolen on this one. Religions are a form of propaganda just like Hitler in Nazi Germany. It is a form of control free will does not exist with any religion it you read into it enough

Well. good for you...
I however, am convinced, after carefully weighing the facts, that there is no higher power, and you just simply die when you die. Lights out.. all gone. I know, it scares the hell out of me too... but at least i face reality. And besides, the fact that you wont know, or realize anything of it, being dead, is the only blessing i ever found in anything... Which perhaps explains my fascination for zombies... especially those of George A Romero.. they are just too damn real..

That was the reason for me to make an LSD trip (three times actually in 1973..) and i can tell you it really widened my spirit.. And made me realize things i would otherwise never have realized.. Also i can now see/feel/understand things faster, and better.. so that i actually have more spiritual possibilities then before. I would however never recommend doing that to anyone. It made me realize that stuff opens doors we are not yet ready for as a species.. and that should stay closed for now. It can cause you much damage if you do it anyway.. but i guess i was lucky.. to have a few good friends around that i trusted with my life, when i did it.
