with the planned deployment of an American missile defence system in Europe in places such as the infamous Menwith hill(American listeninh post in the UK) and also in the chech republic and Poland it seems that the old cold war crapioca has started again.not so long ago a russian bomber squadron with fighter escort flew VERY close to Uk airspace and refused to reply to requests from both the Norwedgian air force and the RAF.
this remonds me of all the crap we used to have to put up with when i was serving in the british army.
the missile defence systems will NOT be there for the benefit of the host country. it's for american pusposes only.
it seems there always has to be an enemy, always someone for you to be set against and keep you scared.
kinda sad really...

the real sad thing is it is the Gov's that make the choices that lead to threats and war... and our armies die for even if they them self do not agree with the fight. The show of force from Russia I think is purely to show that they are a powerful force still. Just like north Korea doing missile tests... It's a look at me, you better talk to me!
