Default eBay

Hi,
do you use eBay for your online purchases? Do you find it interesting and a safe place where to buy? Personally I have done many purchases on eBay and I always found myself satisfied, though I have heard of people being scammed or receiving different items rather than what they ordered what is your experience with eBay?

oh yeah, for sure
eBay is great
i've bought only about 7 or 8 different things
but i am 100% satisfied
people are honest, and you get what you bought
always worth its money
and if you have any doubts, always check out the sellers reputation before buying

Lightbulb Never Again

No, I'll never use Ebay again.
I had an account for about two years. It got hacked twice. I logged in one day and had literally hundreds of messages from people asking me if the Louis Vuitton sunglasses I was selling were real. I've never sold anything on Ebay ever, I've only bought DVDs on it. I got so freaked out, I didn't know what to do, I called Ebay and they were really great about it and everything. They saw what happened and they fixed it, but then my account got hacked into again. Ugh!! After that I just deleted my account, I never used it after that anyways. I know it doesn't happen to everyone so I wouldn't say not to do it, but definitely be careful.

I never have used any marketplace on internet, and i am not likely to ever do it eighter.. "You always buy some else's discarded shit..." My grandfather told me once.. he was a wise man... and he was right.. he still is sometimes.. Even if he died in 1982.

Nope.. You won't see me on ebay...

eBay is great, you can sell things that you would never have thought would ever sell.

It is always to good to search for the mis-spelt items, you can sometimes pick up items at low prices...

RelicDude, not ever thing on eBay is someone else's discarded $hit, there are many genuine internet stores trading via eBay and using the auction method to sell end of line (New) goods..

I have had my eBay account hacked, but I have to admit, it was my fault. Back in the days when I didn't really understand the need for good PC security, especially when using P2P file sharing as well as using the remember password functionality for sites like eBay.

Not really a good argument Basher.. Ebay and markets like it here.. Are too damn impersonal. In this day and age we hardly get outside as it is.. besides.. it's much more fun being in a room, and bid against people u can see.. it can go really fast.. that positive tension is great.. and after woods shake hands with the one u lost or won from.. pay fir the goods and always go home with the right stuff.. have some coffee with people and talk it over.. like on a real auction. There is just no comparison..
