Why do I need to make 3 posts before I can download my own torrent file?

This is way of showing that you registered three post to start of. Some users i believe come and search around and see whats here and just take and run. So i believe if you want to download desperately just do three post and your good to go.

yes your post does count, the purpose is to deter peeps from the hit and run as sickamore stated to you..also gives the opportunity for the new member to see all that useek has to offer and the opportunity to learn how to up and down torrent files for those new to this.Constructive questions are always welcome during this period so the Mods and members have the chance to guide you in the correct direction for your experience and enjoyment~~Welcome to U-SEEK~~
