Hello Frankhorse, thanks for contributing to the site. I will try to answer your question. Yes you can use multiple trackers with a torrent file. It does not matter how many trackers index a particular file.

Depending on what kind of bittorent client you use, eg. utorrent it might be wise to recreate the torrent see the step by step guide. Or you can right click a seeding torrent in utorrent window, and select properties and make the changes there. When making multitracker torrents in µTorrent, you need to remember that each announce tier needs to be separated from the previous one with a blank line. Trackers within a tier should be one line after another. (A tier meaning same server or domain) Like this: ht tp://tracker1.demoniod.com:3391/announce ht tp://tracker2.demonoid.com:3391/announce ht tp://tracker1.useekfile.com:2710/announce ht tp://tracker2.useekfile.com:2710/announce Hope this helps... ![]()

I use azureus, and it has the add tracker feature for torrents I have created. Is there anyway to supercede the original tracker I am using or does it even matter which is the original or not? For instance will someone trying to download just pull the torrent file from both trackers or what not? I still don't completely understand what having multiple trackers for a torrent really does. Does it just provide another tracker for occasions when one tracker is down or something else? Thanks for all the input on my question.
Also I am guessing the tracker address for useek is www.useekfile.com/announce.php let me know if I am wrong on this. ![]()

Do trackers such as demonoid care whether they are uppermost in the tier of trackers??
I've had very mixed results with multiple trackers in the past!
