Everyone's a newbie at some point.

Invites are for other private torrent trackers. They are sites similar to uSeek, but in an effort to thwart leechers - in order to be able to upload/download from these sites you have to be invited to be a member. You can only be invited by someone who is already a member. The benefits of belonging to a private tracker can be debated - but it's all about figuring out what works for you. There are quite a few sites that require invites, a couple of the most popular ones are Demoniod.com & Oink.
